As we move forward, our focus is on creating value responsibly, by using resources efficiently, strengthening environmental stewardship and ensuring that our operations contribute positively to the communities around us. The initiatives undertaken during Sustainability Month demonstrate what is possible when our people come together with a shared sense of responsibility. I believe lasting progress comes from making sustainability a part of everyday decisions, across every operation and every level of the organisation.”

Furthering these efforts, Vedanta IOO organised a sustainability focused connect at ITI College, Koida, Odisha, with the participation of around 250 students, faculty members and industry representatives. The programme was designed to strengthen awareness around sustainability, safety and responsible citizenship among young learners and future professionals.

Engagement also included the conduct of a fire safety mock drill, Plantation drive  and a Walkathon-cum-Cleanliness Drive as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2026.
