Vedanta Sesa Goa takes pride in its people focussed policies and the emphasis on DEI. The #IronLadiesIndia initiative was launched in 2023 to spotlight the ‘iron ladies’ in our midst, both within the organisation & the communities, and to celebrate their resilience & grit in overcoming challenging scenarios. As the initiative matured, today it has transformed into a ‘movement’ which has expanded in scope to helping create conditions for more and more ‘iron ladies’ to emerge. The initiative aligns with the global call for gender equality & helps foster conducive conditions for channelising the inherent strength of women. The powerful messaging has resonated across geographies and the campaign has been a proud winner at the SABRE APAC PR Awards, SABRE PR Awards South Asia, ‘FULCRUM Awards, PRCA Awards.

Safety is Us

Safety is Us aims to promote a culture of inviolable safety driven by a strong sense of safety consciousness. Its unique component being that it is rooted in fostering holistic safety, encompassing the communities – engaging with the students and the youth to engender safe behaviours in all aspect of life. The campaign reflects Vedanta’s unwavering commitment to safe & responsible production – and to ensuring that each and every member of the workforce returns home safely. Since its inception, the campaign , a mix of engagement events & ‘visually felt’ branding, has helped further improve compliance to regulations , with tangible gains across key aspects of functionality. The Campaign has been recognised for its unique concept, execution and impact at multiple forums of repute SABRE APAC PR Awards , SABRE PR Awards South Asia, ‘FULCRUM Awards

Vedanta Sesa Goa has a rich legacy of fostering sustainable operations – the iconic Sanquelim Reclaimed Mines in Goa standing testimony to the same. The Sesa Football Academy ,established in 1999, has nurtured the careers of over 8000+ girls and boys, with 14 of them having represented India internationally. #LetsFootballForIndia represents SFA’s commitment to creating the right ecosystem for developing football talent from Goa and beyond. The endeavours are encapsulated through #LetsFootballForIndia – a call to action for fostering excellence at the national level. With every session, every match and every opportunity, we move closer to building a stronger football future for Goa, for the nation – and for India’s rise in the world of sport.

Nandghar Advt

Nand Ghars are state-of-the-art modern Anganwadis, set up by Vedanta in partnership with the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. They are equipped with 24×7 solar electricity, safe drinking water and clean toilets. Through standardized e-learning for kids, nutritious meals, healthcare for all and skill training to empower women, Nand Ghars are making lives better for mothers and children.
