The introduction of EV Wheel Loaders (EVWLs), EV Fork Lifters (EVFLs), and EV light mechanical vehicles represents a decisive shift toward cleaner, smarter, and more responsible industrial practices.
This transition has already delivered measurable impact, with fossil fuel consumption reduced by nearly 800 KL of diesel annually. Beyond the numbers, these EV deployments embody a broader transformation: intelligent electric drive systems that maximize energy efficiency, lower mine‑level carbon intensity, and contribute to quieter, safer, and more ergonomic workplaces. Operators benefit from reduced fatigue, aiding overall fatigue management.
By partially replacing diesel power with EVWLs and EVFLs, VISL is setting a benchmark for sustainable operations in the iron and steel sector.
